Biography:
Gianni Boncompagni (born May 13, 1932) is an Italian television and radio presenter, writer, and producer.
Boncompagni began his career in the entertainment industry in the 1960s, working as a writer and producer for RAI, the Italian public broadcaster. In 1968, he created the popular variety show "Non Stop", which ran for over ten years and helped to launch the careers of several Italian singers and actors.
In the 1970s and 1980s, Boncompagni continued to work as a writer and producer for television and radio. He also hosted several popular shows, including "Fantastico" and "Domenica In".
In the 1990s, Boncompagni returned to RAI as the director of programming. He also hosted several popular shows, including "Ciao Darwin" and "La Vita in Diretta".
Boncompagni has been married three times, and has three children. He currently lives in Rome, Italy.
