American baseball player, a left-throwing/right-hitting pitcher who played two games for the Montreal Expos in 1974. He committed suicide by shotgun after hitting his wife with a bottle, strangling his dog, and shooting his son in the hand while drunk in Zephyrhills, Florida on 15 February 2007. Enyart Terry was born on October 10, 1950, in Ironton, Ohio. He is a retired professional basketball player who played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for 10 seasons.
Terry played college basketball at the University of Alabama, where he was a two-time All-American. He was selected by the Baltimore Bullets with the 12th overall pick in the 1973 NBA Draft. Terry played for the Bullets, Philadelphia 76ers, and Milwaukee Bucks during his NBA career.
Terry was a two-time NBA All-Star, and he led the league in free throw percentage in 1979. He was also a member of the 1976 NBA champion Philadelphia 76ers.
After retiring from the NBA, Terry worked as a basketball coach and analyst. He is currently the head coach of the Philadelphia Stars of the American Basketball Association.
