Biography

Israeli comedian, movie actor, director, producer and screenwriter, he is the winner of three Ophir Awards - two as the best lead actor and one for life achievement. Among the most prominent and important figures in Israeli cinema, he is a star of the Israeli movie genre known as bourekas films. Israeli newspaper Haaretz described Revachs films as a "peculiarly Israeli genre of comic melodramas or tearjerkers... based on ethnic stereotypes that flourished [in Israel] in the 1960s and 1970s."
