Saturn Goes Retrograde

 

The big news is that in July, or rather starting on June 30th, Saturn goes retrograde until November 15th. I've spoken about this in a separate video. Saturn's retrograde period is a significant event in Vedic astrology. During this time, it is crucial to be cautious and mindful of your actions and decisions. Saturn's retrograde can bring about delays and obstacles, but it also offers an opportunity for reflection and reevaluation.

 

Mercury's Movement

 

Mercury had moved into Cancer on June 29th and will stay until July 20th when it enters Leo. Mercury in Cancer is not entirely comfortable but can be a helpful transit for dealing with domestic matters. It's a time when working from home can be a good option. Mercury in Leo, starting from July 20th, is fantastic for networking, business matters, and contemplating and putting into action very serious goals. With Saturn's aspect, you can be very centered and focused. July 20th onwards is a good time also to share your knowledge with others.

 

Moon Cycles in July

 

Let's talk about the moon cycles. We have a new moon in Gemini in the nakshatra of Punarvasu on July 5th. See what Gemini represents in your chart to see where you can experience a new beginning, a restart, or perhaps a reconnection with someone. You might go back to something you started earlier; it could be a renewal of sorts as well. Venus is close by, so this could be related to relationships or money matters. There are no malefic aspects to this new moon cycle, making it a very friendly time to enjoy travel and connect with others. It's great for socializing and starting new endeavors.

 

Venus in Cancer

 

Venus moves into Cancer on July 7th and stays until July 31st. This transit is good for all domestic matters such as decorating your place, spending time at home, meeting with family, and having home-cooked meals. Any nurturing activities are also beneficial at this time. With so many benefic planets in Cancer, it's a feel-good first half of the month. With Venus there until the end of the month, that theme continues.

 

Mars' Transit

 

Mars continues its powerful transit in Aries until July 12th. Mars then moves into Taurus on July 12th and stays until August 26th. This is another powerful Mars transit because it joins Jupiter in Taurus. Mars in Taurus can compel you to think about your finances, so there may be some financial dealings with your family that come up at this time. Relationships can undergo lasting changes, but you will be happy with the results irrespective of the changes. With Mars' friend Jupiter also in Taurus, you will receive good advice and guidance to mitigate any issues that arise at this time. It's a good time to consider changing the foods you eat and making positive changes in this department. If you wanted to start a new direction, especially where money is involved, it's a good transit for finances and looking into your financial matters.

 

Sun in Cancer

 

On July 16th, the Sun makes its monthly move into Cancer until August 16th. After a few months of an easygoing transit, the Sun will now receive Rahu's aspect from Pisces until the end of the month. The Sun travels in Cancer with two benefic planets, Venus and Jupiter. The Sun here starts its journey going south.

 

Full Moon in Capricorn

 

There's a full moon in Capricorn on July 21st in the nakshatra of Uttara Ashadha. This is also Guru Purnima, a time when we express gratitude to all our gurus and guides who have come into our lives. This moon cycle receives two benefic aspects, one from Venus and one from Jupiter, which is lovely. It's an excellent time for exploring new career opportunities, organizing your calendar, and making important contacts. Both of these moon cycles this month are aspected by benefic planets and do not receive any malefic influence. Similar to last month, it is a beneficial cycle overall.
