Mula Nakshatra by Prash Trivedi
Mula is the first of the last nine asterisms and is represented by a bunch of nine stars that form a shape similar to a lion s tail. These stars are located in the astronomical constellation of Vrischika but astrologically belong to Rasi Dhanur. They are situated in the center of the Milky Way and can be seen as a white river in the night sky. Mula translates to "root," emphasizing its connection to the center or core of everything. Its symbol is a tied bunch of roots, representing hidden things, realms, events, and motives. Mula also relates to getting to the bottom or core of everything, like its planetary Lord Ketu. It symbolizes collecting necessary tools from past lives to fulfill one s goals in the present. Mula is associated with investigating unseen or unknown things and is linked to the roots of diseases and the making of medicines in ancient medicinal systems like Ayurveda. Overall, Mula represents a straight, direct nature that seeks to uncover and understand the root of all things.
