This tanker sank off the coast of France (Brittany) causing a major environmental disaster. As the Erika entered the Bay of Biscay, it ran into a heavy storm, broke in two, and sank. 14 days later, France lived the worst windstorm. On 9 December 2014, such a disaster occured in Bangladesh.
