Candilis Takis is a French architect and urban planner. He is known for his work on the new town of Cergy-Pontoise, which he designed with Michel Ecochard and Jean-Claude Le Dantec. Takis has also designed numerous other buildings and urban projects, including the Agora of Athens, the Olympic Stadium in Athens, and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles.
Takis is a member of the French Academy of Architecture and the Royal Institute of British Architects. He has received numerous awards for his work, including the Pritzker Architecture Prize in 2010.
