French politician and Member of the European Parliament (MEP) for the National Rally (RN) since 2019.
Christophe was born in Caen, France, on January 26, 1958. He studied at the University of Caen Normandy and earned a degree in law.
Christophe began his political career in the 1980s as a member of the National Front (FN), the predecessor to the RN. He was elected to the regional council of Lower Normandy in 1986 and served until 1992. In 1994, he was elected to the National Assembly, where he represented the 1st constituency of Calvados until 2002.
In 2009, Christophe was elected to the European Parliament, where he currently serves as a member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Subcommittee on Security and Defense.
