Coles interest in astrology began in 1972 when he studied with Cretus Locke and George Hurde in Santa Cruz, CA. Previously, he had received a degree in traditional metaphysics from the University of Nevada. Cole Robert is an American actor, singer, and dancer. He is best known for his roles in the Broadway musicals Hair, Godspell, and Jesus Christ Superstar.
Robert began his career as a dancer in the chorus of Hair in 1968. He went on to play the lead role of Claude in the 1971 film adaptation of the musical. In 1973, he starred in the original Broadway production of Godspell, and in 1976, he played the role of Judas Iscariot in the film adaptation of Jesus Christ Superstar.
Robert has also appeared in a number of other films and television shows, including The Rose (1979), The Greatest American Hero (1981-1983), and The West Wing (2000-2006).
In addition to his acting career, Robert is also a singer and songwriter. He has released several albums, including Cole Robert (1977), The Way It Is (1980), and One More Day (2006).
