Louis Coudert (born April 26, 1922) is a French politician who served as a member of the European Parliament from 1979 to 1989.
Early life and education
Coudert was born in La Romagne, France. He studied law at the University of Paris and the University of Strasbourg.
Political career
Coudert began his political career as a member of the French Socialist Party (SFIO). He was elected to the National Assembly of France in 1958. In 1979, he was elected to the European Parliament. He served on the European Parliament's Committee on Legal Affairs and Citizens' Rights and the Committee on Institutional Affairs.
Later life
Coudert retired from politics in 1989. He currently lives in Paris.
