American schizophrenic who was suspected of having stopped his medication when he killed his father on 6/20/1997. Thomas had been hospitalized several times prior to that night, when he chased his 67-year-old father down the street and stabbed him more than 50 times in front of horrified neighbors. When questioned, Thomas stated that he was been ordered by Monacos Prince Rainier to kill his dad. Square faced and impassive-looking, the Anglo Thomas was the older of two boys. On that day, the family was preparing to barbeque when Tom said he had a headache and was going to bed.
