American football halfback in the National Football League (NFL) for the Boston Yanks (1945–1946), the Chicago Cardinals (1947–1950), and the Chicago Bears (1952). He played college football at Purdue University. In 2007, he was inducted into the Indiana Football Hall of Fame. In 2009, he was inducted into the Purdue Athletics Hall of Fame. Dimancheff Babe was born on September 6, 1922, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
She was a singer and actress who appeared in a number of films and television shows throughout the 1940s and 1950s.
Babe was best known for her role as the title character in the 1947 film "Sunday Girl".
She also appeared in such films as "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir" (1947), "The Lady Takes a Sailor" (1949), and "The Glass Slipper" (1955).
Babe died on July 21, 2006, at the age of 83.
