Israeli archaeologist who focuses on the Late Bronze and Iron Ages in the region, in particular in Philistine culture. A professor at Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 1977, she held the Eliezer Sukenik Chair of Archeology and headed the Berman Center of Biblical Archaeology. Dothan Trude was born on October 12, 1922 in Vienna, Austria. She is a Holocaust survivor and author of the book "My Story: A Holocaust Survivor's Memoir." Trude has spoken to audiences around the world about her experiences during the Holocaust and her subsequent life in the United States.
