Gabily DidierGeorges is a French film director, screenwriter, and producer. He is best known for his work on the films "La Vie est Belle" (2017) and "Les Misérables" (2019).
DidierGeorges was born in Saumur, France, in 1955. He began his career in the film industry as a production assistant. He later worked as a director's assistant on several films, including "The Pianist" (2002) and "Amour" (2012).
DidierGeorges's first feature film as a director was "La Vie est Belle" (2017). The film was a critical and commercial success, winning the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. DidierGeorges's next film, "Les Misérables" (2019), was also a critical and commercial success. The film won the Golden Globe Award for Best Foreign Language Film and was nominated for three Academy Awards, including Best Picture.
DidierGeorges is a member of the Académie des Arts et Techniques du Cinéma. He is also a recipient of the Légion d'honneur.
