Labisse Flix was born on March 9, 1905 in Marchiennes, France. He was a French actor, director, and screenwriter. He is best known for his work in the French New Wave.
Flix began his career as an actor in the early 1930s. He appeared in a number of films, including Prisoners Without Chains (1932) and The Marriage Circle (1933). In 1936, he directed his first film, The Virgin of Paris. This film was a critical and commercial success, and it launched Flix's career as a director.
Flix continued to direct a number of films throughout the 1940s and 1950s. These films included The Happy Time (1948), The Wild One (1953), and The Battle of the Bulge (1965). Flix's films were often praised for their realism and their exploration of social issues.
