He is best known for his humorous drawings, which often featured animals and anthropomorphic characters.
Flix's work was published in numerous newspapers and magazines, including Le Monde, L'Express, and The New Yorker.
He also illustrated several books, including "The Life of Insects" by Jean-Henri Fabre and "The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
Flix was a member of the Académie des Beaux-Arts and the Legion of Honour.
