Pfeifle Marley is an American artist, educator, and writer. She is best known for her work in the field of fiber arts, particularly her use of textiles to create abstract and minimalist compositions.
Marley has exhibited her work internationally, including at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, D.C., and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
In addition to her artistic practice, Marley has also been active in education. She has taught at the Rhode Island School of Design, the University of California, Berkeley, and the California College of the Arts.
Marley is the recipient of numerous awards and honors, including a Guggenheim Fellowship and a National Endowment for the Arts grant.
