Sher Jim Biography

American therapist, counselor and astrologer. After receiving a master’s degree in social work from the University of Texas in 1972, he has worked in the social service fields of mental health, drug and alcohol treatment, domestic violence and child abuse. He began post-graduate training in Jungian theory during that time and in 1978 began working in private practice as a therapist, specializing in the counseling of individuals and couples. Sher brings over 35 years of experience as a therapist and transformational counselor to his practice of astrology, metaphysics, meditation and philosophy. He operates as a teacher and counselor and specializes in the use of discourse as a part of his teaching approach. He currently resides in Los Angeles, CA where he teaches astrology and meditation to a variety of students both online, and in person. Read less
