Trowe's career spanned over five decades, and she appeared in over 100 films and television shows. She made her film debut in 1949 in the film "Der Apfel ist ab". She went on to appear in such films as "Das doppelte Lottchen" (1950), "Die Trapp-Familie" (1956), and "Die Brücke" (1959).
