More than 40 people were injured and several buildings were destroyed. Exactly 1 year later, an explosion occured in an ethylene oxide plant near Tarragona, Spain. 2 employees were killed and, 3 km away, a building partially collapsed, killing 1 other person. 7 other employees were wounded in the plant.
