Faucon Gatan is a French rugby union coach and former player. He currently serves as forwards coach for the France national team.
Gatan was born in Creil, France, on September 3, 1984. He began playing rugby at the age of six, and he quickly rose through the ranks of the French youth system. In 2003, he made his professional debut for the Stade Français Paris rugby club. He played for Stade Français for five seasons, winning the Top 14 championship in 2007 and the Heineken Cup in 2005. In 2008, he joined the Clermont Auvergne rugby club, where he played for four seasons. He won the Top 14 championship with Clermont Auvergne in 2010 and 2017.
Gatan retired from playing in 2018, and he immediately began his coaching career. He was appointed forwards coach for the France national team in 2019. He has helped France to win the Six Nations Championship in 2022 and 2023.
