**Biography:**
Myriam Fox Jerusalmi is a French-Israeli actress and film director. Born in Marseille, France, she moved to Israel with her family at the age of 10. She studied acting at the Nissan Nativ Acting Studio in Jerusalem and has since starred in over 25 films and television series.
Her breakthrough role came in 2005 with the film "The Syrian Bride," which earned her critical acclaim and multiple award nominations. Since then, she has starred in a wide range of films, including "The Band's Visit" (2007), "Footnote" (2011), and "Fill the Void" (2012).
In addition to her acting career, Fox Jerusalmi has also directed several short films and documentaries. She is a vocal advocate for human rights and social justice, and her work often explores themes of identity, family, and social division.
