American singer and songwriter who achieved initial fame as a member of the teen pop group, Poplyfe, which was a finalist on Americas Got Talent. She released her first mixtape, Cloud 19, in 2014. The album was listed among Complexs "50 Best Albums of 2014." Kehlanis second mixtape, You Should Be Here, debuted at number 5 on the national R&B/Hip-Hop chart in 2015 and preceded her sold-out North American promotional tour. In 2016, she was nominated for the Best Urban Contemporary Album Grammy Award. Kehlani released her debut studio album, SweetSexySavage, in January 2017. On 22 February 2019, her third commercial mixtape While We Wait was released by Atlantic Records and debuted at number nine on the US Billboard 200. At around 9 AM on 23 March 2019, Kehlani gave birth to her daughter, Adeya Nomi Parrish at home.
