### Kiejman Georges, born August 12, 1932
Kiejman Georges is a French politician who served as a member of the National Assembly from 1986 to 1988 and again from 1993 to 1997. He is a member of the Union for a Popular Movement (UMP).
Kiejman was born in Paris, France on August 12, 1932. He studied law at the University of Paris and began his career as a lawyer. In 1977, he was elected to the municipal council of Paris, where he served until 1983.
In 1986, Kiejman was elected to the National Assembly, representing the 15th constituency of Paris. He served as a member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Committee on Defense. In 1988, he lost his seat in the National Assembly to Socialist candidate Lionel Jospin, but he was re-elected in 1993.
In 1995, Kiejman was appointed Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs in the government of Prime Minister Alain Juppé. He held this position until 1997, when he lost his seat in the National Assembly again.
After leaving the National Assembly, Kiejman continued to be active in politics. He served as a member of the European Parliament from 1999 to 2004 and as a member of the Paris City Council from 2001 to 2008. He is currently a member of the advisory board of the Institut français des relations internationales (IFRI).
