Rowan Atkinson was born on January 6, 1955 in Consett, County Durham, England. He is an English actor, comedian, and screenwriter. He is best known for his roles as Mr. Bean, Blackadder, and Johnny English.
Atkinson studied electrical engineering at Newcastle University, but he later dropped out to pursue a career in comedy. He began his career in the early 1980s, appearing in various television shows and stage productions. In 1989, he created the character of Mr. Bean, which became a worldwide success.
Atkinson has also starred in a number of films, including "Not the Nine O'Clock News" (1982), "Four Weddings and a Funeral" (1994), and "Love Actually" (2003).
