American homicide; she killed a custodian and principal and wounded eight children and a policeman on 1/29/1979. She had said the prior week that she was going to do something to get herself on TV. A tiny girl, under 5 ft with red hair and an epileptic, she had lived with her father since her parents had divorced. She claimed to have gone on her rampage because, "I hate Mondays." Who was she trying to kill? "No one in particular. I kinda like the red and blue jackets." After hours of futile attempts to get Brenda to surrender, she finally decided it was time to end what she had called "fun." Found sane, she was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison and will be eligible for a parole hearing in 2001. On 3/06/1980, her father, age 40, married her cell mate, a 17 year old runaway. She was denied parole in 2009, but becomes eligible again in 2019. Link to Wikipedia biography Read less
