A bit on the heavy-set side, she was usually cast in minor or supporting roles but became well-known when she landed a gig on the two-year run of the hit TV sitcom, "Bosom Buddies" with Tom Hanks and Peter Scolari (1980-1982) followed by movies and stage appearances including a role in the movie "Private Benjamin" with Goldie Hawn.
