Westmore Frank Biography
American cosmetician who was a make-up man for big movies with the House of Westmore Beauty Salon. Frank was the seventh and last child of George Westmore, the sixth son. The Cosmetics Company was started by him with his father and his brothers in 1933; the twins, Ernie and Percy, were 18-years older. Frank originally apprenticed with his brother, Wally, at Paramount and worked with the top stars of filmdom for several decades. He collaborated on "The Westmore Beauty Book," 1956 and wrote a family biography, "The Westmores of Hollywood," 1976. Their father committed suicide on 7/12/1931. On 5/14/1985 he died of a heart ailment, Burbank, CA, survived by his wife Gloria. Link to Wikipedia biography Read less
