French business figure and son of former French President Valéry Giscard dEstaing. At 22, he was the youngest person in France to serve as a Conseiller Général, serving the area of Loir-et-Cher. Anecdotally, as part of his job, he participated in a military parade on 14 July 1980, driving a tank before the eyes of his father, then the President of France. After finishing his studies in Marketing at the Institut dÉtudes Cofremca, he entered at Boussois-Souchon-Neuvesel-Danone in 1987, working as Director of Development between 1987 and 1990, then as managing director of HP - Lea & Perrins in the United Kingdom for 2 years. As CEO of Evian, left his job to sign with the Danone group as the CEO of their mineral water branch. In 1997, he joined Club Méditerranée as their Director of Finance, Development, and International Relations and as a member of the board. In October, 2001, he became a General Director, and from December 16, 2002, he served as CEO, replacing Philippe Bourguignon.
