French homicide perpetrator, accomplice of Florence Rey. Both of middle-class descent, they entered a political group of extremists "ultra-left" in the early 90s, a group where they met Abdelhakim Dekhar (the third character who was surnamed "The Parisian gunman" after shootings twenty years later). Dekhar provided a pump-action shotgun to the young couple. On 4 October 1994, Maupin and Rey hijacked a taxi after stealing other guns. As she shot to death three police officers, he killed their taxi driver, Amadou Diallo. Himself was shot and died a day later. In the same year, Oliver Stone released his "Natural born killers"...
