Born on May 18, 1927, in Los Angeles, California, Tatro Duane is a retired American actor. He is best known for his role as Ralph Monroe on the television series "Green Acres" (1965-1971).
Duane began his career in the early 1950s, appearing in small roles in films and television shows. He landed his breakout role in 1965 when he was cast as Ralph Monroe on "Green Acres." The series was a huge success, and Duane became a household name.
After "Green Acres" ended in 1971, Duane continued to work in television and film. He appeared in such shows as "The Love Boat," "Fantasy Island," and "Murder, She Wrote." He also had a recurring role on the soap opera "Days of Our Lives."
Duane retired from acting in the early 2000s. He now lives in California with his wife.
