American business executive; as President of the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS), he was invited to join the newly formed Trilateral Commission in 1973. He left CBS in 1976 and formed his own investment company. In 1992 he became President of Muhlenberg College but was asked to leave ten years later. Taylor ArthurRobert is a public figure with a long and distinguished career in business and government.
ArthurRobert began his career as a businessman, founding and running several successful companies. In the 1980s, he entered government service, serving as a member of the New Jersey General Assembly and the United States House of Representatives.
In 1993, ArthurRobert was appointed by President Bill Clinton to serve as the United States Ambassador to the United Nations. He served in this role for two years, during which time he played a key role in the negotiations that led to the Dayton Accords, which ended the Bosnian War.
Since leaving government service, ArthurRobert has continued to be active in business and public affairs. He is the founder and chairman of the ArthurRobert Group, a consulting firm specializing in international business and development.
ArthurRobert is also a regular commentator on current events, appearing on television and radio shows and writing op-eds for newspapers and magazines.
